LA Galaxy Orange County Elite Development League was founded in the Spring of 2014 (as USA Junior Soccer) to create a bridge between our recreational Youth Development League and our club teams. It is a crucial step on the LAGOC Player Pathway Pyramid. With player development and progression in mind, the Elite Development League sources out, and invites talented players from local recreation leagues, as well as the standout performers from our Youth Development League, to work with professional coaches twice a week to cultivate their soccer skills and techniques.
The Elite Development League is a program that offers organized soccer for players who want to play at a more competitive level, but want to remain in recreational soccer. It is also serves as a fantastic platform for the players that want to push themselves and eventually be part of the club soccer world. It lays the foundations for all players to move up the soccer ladder and be an instant success.
