LA Galaxy OC are proud to announce Mexico Women’s National Team player, Janelly Farias, as the new Assistant Girls Age Group Director (U15-19).
Janelly, 27, has been a Mexico international since 2006, and has been capped 18 times by the U-20s and 16 times by the First Team.
The former UC Irvine Women’s Soccer team standout will work closely with Luis Cruz, LAGOC Girls U15-19 Director, overseeing the older girls’ teams.
An attacking midfielder, Janelly has started the last 11 international games for her national team, including games against USA and Brazil.
Tim Woodcock, LAGOC Director of Operations, said: “We are very excited to welcome Janelly to the LAGOC family.”
“She has an impressive playing career and will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club, that will be an inspiration for every girl at LA Galaxy Orange County”.
Janelly is the latest exciting addition to the LAGOC staff, with the club appointing a new General Manager and Tours & Tournaments Director in the last month.
