P.J. WOOLRIDGE
ASSISTANT COACH
P.J. Woolridge has been on the UC Irvine Women’s Soccer coaching staff since 2014 and is currently serving as the Associate Head Coach.
Woolridge spent the previous three seasons at USC. Prior to that, he assisted for three seasons at the University of San Diego after serving as an assistant at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo for eight seasons. Cal Poly won four straight Big West championships during that time, and reached the NCAA Tournament five times. During Woolridge’s three seasons at San Diego, the Toreros made runs to the NCAA Tournament all three seasons that Woolridge was there.
As a player, Woolridge was a four-year starter at Cal Poly, where he helped lead the Mustangs to the 1995 Division I playoffs and also was a two-time first-team all-conference honoree. He still holds Cal Poly program records with career matches played (72) and started (72) as well as game-winning goals in a season.
Together with his wife, Alli, they have a 5-year-old daughter named Rylan, a 3-year-old son named Keenan, and welcomed their second son, Camden, last July.
JUSTINE SAUDER
ASSISTANT COACH
Justine was born and raised in San Clemente, CA. She captained the SCHS Girls Soccer Team who won CIF, and was selected for First Team All CIF Southern Section. She went on to play at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she received her Bachelors degree in Communications. Justine was team captain as a Sophomore, was team SAAC Representative, and made All Mountain West Academic Team. She also played with the San Diego Sealions WPSL team.
After college, Justine spent two years coaching in Oregon for the Eugene Timbers, South Eugene High School as Girls Head Varsity Coach, and Oregon ODP as Head Coach of the Willamette Valley Region 02 girls. In 2015, Justine came back to Orange County and coached with Laguna United Futbol Club and Dana Hills High School as Fr/So and JV Coach. She also began coaching and scouting with Cal South ODP, where she was assistant coach for the National Championship winning 1999 girls and Regional Championship winning 2002 girls. Justine is currently coaching with LA Galaxy OC, US Soccer as a DA Scout and Training Center Coach, and UCI Women’s Soccer as Volunteer Assistant Coach.
JANELLY FARIAS
ASSISTANT COACH
Janelly Farias currently plays for the Apollon Ladies FC, pro team in Cyprus, Greece. With this team, she played in UEFA Champions League round of 32 in 2017. Janelly is also on Women’s Mexican National Soccer team (first full team Cap in 2007). A UC Irvine graduate in 2012, she went on to coach at UCI under Scott’s supervision 2015-2016

Janelly is a proud member of the OC community, born in Santa Ana. So excited to be part of this journey with LA galaxy as an assistant coach/player. Her next big goal in life is the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019 and she is confident that the LA Galaxy OC women’s team will play a role in that achievement.
